Who is the biggest winner?
Surprisingly, Mazda topped the list with an impressive total increase of 42.6% on its March 2007 car sales. It was followed by Saturn with a 22.5% increase and followed by the Japanese auto maker Mitsubishi with 17.9% and Infiniti with 12.6% additional car sales.
The Big Three failed to gain on its March 2007 car sales. The biggest among the three, GM was noted to decrease by –7.9%, Ford with a –12.24% decline and DMX with –8% deductions. It was again the Ford that topped the biggest loser among the three.
Toyota was one among the car brands that gained more car sales last month. The most famous Japanese car maker was able to gain 7.7% from its 217,286 units last March 2006 to 242,675 vehicles sold last month. Honda also gained more with 111,282 units sold on March 2006 and increased by 9.5% amounting to 126,406 units of cars sold on March 2007.
Here is a complete list of the cars that made it and also car makers that didn’t. I found this list on autoblog early this morning. Here dig in and find out more about the March 2007 car sales.

The 2009 Porsche 911: Has It Evolved? April 13, 2007 ![]() First impressions last! That’s what I think about the Porsche 911’s styling concept. From the 911’s history, we can distinguish the roots of this super car. From the original design of 911, the latest model today still resembles its original characteristics. From my own opinion, even though everybody says Porsche is one of the premium cars of all time, they should think of something even more advanced. I’m not saying it’s too ancient but they really need restyling of the 911. But we have to give credit to Porsche because they have sustained the best auto performance in their 911 model. Yey! Various car companies considered the concept of evolving their products into something more appealing in the eyes of their target market. Changes will take place as the product develops into a renewed character. On the other hand, Porsche seem to decline such style of perception. The progressive evolution for the Porsche 911 Carrera is slowly taking place but to me it seems like there are no changes at all. I mean, there are some but they seem to be not quite that significant if you know what I mean. As the years passed by, just a little enhancement from the previous Porsche 911 moving on to the next of its class had added up some improvements and not-so-different designs from the old model. The 2009 Porsche 911 Carrera-S presently is showing off a vast improvement on its exterior. Boasting off quad-element HID headlamps and comes with the not-new ovoid surrounds. Beneath its well known trademark, the frog-like headlights are definitely cool and the vehicle also now comes with the large air intake into which the signals are included and it is positioned into a horizontal manner. The vehicle also now has a restrained lower lip that extends from the chin spoiler and continues all the way down the body sides and into the rear bumper. The said bumper has been revised to accommodate wider-set tailpipes, and unfortunately, the droopy Cayenne-style LED tail lamps have also been spruced up. Cornering lights still situated at bottom part of the headlights and has a little upgrading done. The cornering lights stayed consistently the same for the past years. As for any major mechanical advancements that often accompany styling updates? Porsche has remained typically reserved, but we don’t expect much of a horsepower bump from the 325/355 of the current Carrera/Carrera S… which wouldn’t be such a bad thing, given that from a mechanical standpoint, the 911 has already evolved into fundamental precision. funkylimos wrote @ 11:10 PM || Add a Comment
