Renting Tips

More and more people nowadays are open to the idea of hiring a limousine. But not all are savvy enough to get great deals from limo service companies. There are a lot of factors that you should consider if you are looking to rent a limo. According to CBS3, factors which affect the cost of renting a limo include the "time of the year, type of vehicle, geographic area, travel distance and type of service".

Here are some tips to help you in renting a limo:
  • Check their qualifications. Check that the company is licensed, bonded and insured. Companies who belong to industry associations usually must abide by special insurance regulations and service rules. Reputable associations such as the National Limousine Association (NLA) and the local livery association are good indications that your service provider does their due diligence.
  • Don't settle for less than the best. Ask about the type of training the drivers need.
  • Discuss rates. Typically it is an hourly rate with a 2-3 hour minimum and some airport trips have a flat fee. Ask if the tip is included; typically a 20% tip is recommended. They also usually require a credit card to hold the car.
  • Think ahead. How far in advance you need to book just depends on the time of year. Book as soon as you arrange your plans.
  • Eliminate vehicle confusion. Check out the vehicle you plan on renting. You don't want to be surprised on your rental day when a late model limo shows up and you were expecting a 2007 model. Also, don't assume every company has the same cars.
  • Stay on time. Call 2 days ahead to confirm your reservation and get the driver's cell phone. Then, call 3 hours prior to the event to make sure everything is as scheduled.
  • Don't get trapped. Protect yourself by getting a copy of the signed contract and don't forget to ask about their cancellation policy.

Stretched Ferrari: Out Of The Extraordinary

Ferrari cars are absolutely exceptional, and there’s no doubt about it. I’ve seen how Ferrari cars are built in their assembly plant in one of the shows from the Discovery Channel, and guess what? The manufacturing process is nearly done manually. Oh yeah - from the engine blocks, radiator installation down to its interior fabrication and to everything else in between. Now I understand why they are so unique and of course, don’t forget that they cost a lot of fortune.

Anyway, it’s clear that Ferrari cars are A-OK, two thumbs up, the best of the best or whatever you want to describe it. Now, what if the uniqueness of this ride is taken to new and surprising heights? Imagine a stretched Ferrari, what do you think? That’s radically insane, if you’re going to ask me… but definitely awesome!

Last September, the unthinkable happened when a unique black Ferrari 360 Modena carbon fibre stretch limousine emerged and instantly created a big buzz in the industry. The stretched Ferrari is a certified head turner when it was launched at the European Limousine and Chauffeur Show in the UK last year. It was accounted as the fastest limo in the planet according to proud owner Dan Cawley. According to Giz Mag, the 23 feet long, 400bhp vehicle pulls off 0-60mph in less than six seconds and has a top speed of 170mph.

Dan of Style Limousines in Manchester affiliated with Carbonyte UK to assemble this bizarre vehicle that cost more than £200,000 on the modifications alone. At this very moment, I’m still stunned! And I guess tomorrow, I’ll still have tons of hang-ups about this extraordinary ride!

Lamborghini Countach Super Limo

If we were amazed by the stretched Ferrari in the previous post, maybe this one will knock us off of our feet. It’s a stretched Lambo! Whew, unbelievable… but it’s true. So I guess we better believe it. It’s a Lamborghini Countach Super Limo.

This ride was discovered by www.lambocars.com in a certain online limo service comapany called the White Rose Limousine. The stretched Countach conversion is available for rent as a specialty car. This ride assures you that everyone you pass by along the street will turn their heads. It’s definitely a scene-maker!

According to Lambo Cars, the car is an open top vehicle. A roof construction for this limousine wasn't prepared perhaps because it was rather impossible to come up with this kind of car with the standard height of the Countach. The stretched Countach is most likely powered by a V-8 engine which is too clear to see that this ride won't go very fast like the normal Lambo Countach. But the point of riding a limo is that you have to make a good impression while you had to drive by. Make sure you to check out the facial expressions of the people watching you. Now that’s sweet!

Chauffeur Service Offers New Limos

In order to compete tightly in the industry every entrepreneur has to offer the best to the market. The same is also the case in the chauffer service. This is why new limousines are now being offered to tickle the fancies of customers. That way they will be coming back for more. They could also serve as a channel for viral marketing, the most effective promotional method these days.

It isn’t just the cylinder head gasket and other auto parts that are improving. Services are finding ways to improve as well.

In Asia, one of the chauffer services giving customers new riding atmosphere is Etihad Chauffeur. Since its introduction in 2005, it has earned a record as one of Etihad Airways’ most famous ground services with over 12,000 customers using the service every month in the United Arab Emirates.

The service will be offering a fresh fleet of plush limos for diamond first and pearl business class customers. The new fleet, to be rolled-out in the UAE from 1 January 2008, will provide diamond first class customers with a luxury Cadillac DTS (DeVille Touring Sedan) and an executive Caprice Classic for pearl business class customers, according to the Arabian Business.

The luxury service is now available to Etihad's premium customers in several of Etihad's key global destinations including London Heathrow, Manchester, New York, Munich, Frankfurt and Sydney, with many more to be added throughout 2008, the release continued.

"Etihad has established a reputation for offering customers the very highest standards of hospitality on the ground as well as in the air and the new Etihad Chauffeur limousines are a further example of our service quality. The Cadillac DTS and Caprice Classic have both been specifically chosen because they reflect the profile of Etihad's first and business class customer," said Peter Baumgartner, Etihad Airways' executive vice president marketing and product.

The said chauffer service offers premium customers a luxury transfer to and from Etihad's home base at Abu Dhabi airport to any part in the UAE. The new fleet of limos has started its operation to Dubai and the Northern Emirates since the 1st day of the month. The operation covering the entire UAE will start on the 1st day of February.

"We understand that the ground experience is just as important as the service in the air with travelling time to and from airports often leaving passengers feeling pressured, which is something that Etihad Chauffeur totally removes," concluded Baumgartner.

Choose The Best Limousine, But How?

The image “http://www.limoz.com/Exotic_Limousines-Porsche_Cayenne.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

It’s not too ambitious if we wish to rent a limousine. I mean, everybody desires to ride in a stretched Escalade or HUMMER. When the occasion calls, that’s the right time to rent one. You can enjoy a limo service during promenades, weddings, airport transfers, and other highly important events.

Actually, getting your self a limo service is easy as changing a car’s cylinder head gasket! All you need is proper orientation and knowledge before calling up the most convenient limo service company in town. Before you dial their number, there are helpful tips to help you choose the right limo before giving all your cash out. Chill, take it easy and check follow these pieces of advice courtesy of Nancy Johnson of Article Snatch.

1. Before getting the idea of booking a limousine service for your next special occasion, try not to consider the price alone. Remember that low prices do not mean better service.

2. Inspect the limo at the place of the company from where you hire the service wherever possible. It’s better to be sure about the package you acquired. You don’t want to ruin you day just because the company sent you old rusty limousine.

3. Do not easily agree with the first quote presented by the company. It is important to consider looking at more than a few companies before entrusting a deposit to rent.

4. Ask for recommendations from friends, family etc to make sure if they can suggest a limousine hire company which they have acquired before and know their great service. The best suggestion is word of mouth.

5. Carefully read all the terms and conditions of each companies contracts and make sure you are completely contented.

6. Ask what additional extras are supplied with the limousine hire i.e. drinks, snacks, interior decorations (birthdays, etc).

How To Maintain Limousine Fluids And Batteries

http://jdautocollisionhouston.com/images2/51%20EmployeeHood%20Red.jpg

Limousines are absolutely luxurious in style and performance. Nearly all the convenience and amenities in a vehicle are practically found in a limo. Talk about its posh interior, sophisticated window motor and in-car entertainment components... Sweet and perfect!

However, limousines need the right care and preventive maintenance to extend its life and sustain its first class performance. Among the basic things that need proper attention is the limo’s battery and its fluids.

Here are some preventive maintenance tips we need to apply regularly to our limos to uphold its classiness and quality performance. Check this out!

Battery
  • Usually, there are symptoms that a battery is about to lose its power. A "slow start" is a very good example to name a few warning signs.
  • Local dealership or service amenities can bear out that battery and charging systems are working appropriately and tell right away any needed repairs and replacement.
  • Replace the old battery with a brand new one that is at least as potent as the standard battery that came along with the professional car.
  • Limousines outfitted with dual batteries must have both batteries examined.

Fluids
  • For superior performance, dependability, and durability; always check the vehicle's fluid levels frequently.
  • Replacing the oil and oil filter regularly is possibly the most vital preventative protection job that you can execute.
  • For precise instructions, follow the information in the owner's manual for the suggested lubricants and levels.
